      Oh No, Oily Skin!

Even celebrities deal with oily skin
Oily skin can be oh-so-obvious... Your skin gets oily mostly around the T-zone of your face. You can tell your skin is oily if it oil builds up an hour prior to washing your face.

      1.      You have to keep your skin moisturized. If you don't it will produce more oil. Don't use moisturizers with Shea butter & petrolatum because this will only worsen the problem.
      2. Most oil-free products are not all they claim to be. Some of the ingredients in it may contain a type of oil.
The  #1 cause of oily skin is hormones. We (women) get hormones from our menstrual cycle or period. Most females in their period develop skin problems such as oily skin. Stress=oily skin but oily skin=stress. Take some time & woahhh-saaaa because healing takes time.
      One-week Cures

      •  Keep a handkerchief of some sort to occasionally blot your face when it oils up. This gets the oil off instantly.
      • Get some fresh air for at least 20-30 minutes.
      • Apply coconut oil daily. It also reduces acne.
      • Take a supplement that reduces stress.
      Article
I like how in the original article how the writer uses a lot of personality. She makes it interesting to read. She tackles the situation head-on without talking too much. I actually enjoyed reading it. Your hormones connect with science. We are learning about sexual reproduction in biology. That is where hormones are categorized.

      Blissful Body

Uh oh! Winters arriving soon, & it's time to start caring for our skin. Our skin becomes dry from baths, winds, or indoor heaters. The solution to this irritating skin is B-O-D-Y  O-I-L-S body oils. They make your skin soft & moisturized. You should use them right after a shower. That way the oil  the oil can seep in & hydrate your skin. Your skin is like a sponge, soaking up all the healthy oil. You only need to apply a small amount, because a little goes a longggg way.
I have used body oils. They have made my skin feel luxurious. It makes my skin baby soft. You can make homemade body oils. That we they will be more free of chemicals, but you can buy them in a store.
I like in the article how she explains the effects of the body oils. She explains the ingredients and steps of homemade body oils. The 3 types of homemade oils she talks about is coconut, rose, & lavender body oils.
You need an airtight storage container for the Coconut Body Oil. You need to mix 1 cup of jojoba, coconut, & grapeseed oil in the container. If you want to you may add 4-5 drops of essential oil. You then blend all of the ingredients together & store it. Before you use the body oil shake the container to activate the oils.
You need an airtight storage container for the Rose Body Oil. You only need 2 ingredients, 1 cup of rose petals & sweet almond or olive oil. Take the rose petal & squeeze it into the container, so the oil will come out. Put the sweet almond or olive oil on top of the rose petal.  Shake the container gently, so everything combines. Place the mixture in storage for 3-5 days.
You need an airtight storage container for the Lavender Body Oil. The ingredients are dried lavender flowers & almond, jojoba, sesame, or safflower oil. The same as you do to the rose petals you do for the lavender petals. Then pour  the other oil on top. Gently shake it up, then store it  for 3-5 days.
Use these to give your skin a silky soft feeling & a flattering subtle glow.

      Luscious Lips

      This could be you...
Have you purchased many lip balms & none have worked? Well there are homemade lip scrubs you can make. They will moisturize & exfoliate your lips. There is a variety of lip scrub mixtures, & they all work nearly the same. Making these will only take a few minutes, & afterwards your lips will be baby soft.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  In the DIY Lip Scrub article explains & tells us how to make a delicious lip scrub. Not to eat of course! As I said before lip scrubs are inexpensive, & they leave you with the same excellent results as high-priced lip balms. The 4 ingredients you need to make this is honey, Vaseline, sugar, & maple syrup. You have to measure these ingredients, which has to do with math. First, put 1 tablespoon of Vaseline & honey into a small container. Next, add 2 tablespoons of sugar & 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup. Then mix it up! This mixture is called a heterogeneous mixture, which applies to science. It is heterogeneous because it is mixed with different properties, & you can't separate it. Finally, rub a little of the lip scrub & rub it on your lips for at least 3 minutes. Once you are finished rinse it off & bam! You will have beautiful luscious lips!
Many people have different types of lips, but this technique will work on anyone! Be you, be new, exfoliate! Be the BeautyBomb!
